Digitalis purpurea 'Dalmatian Mix'

Foxglove

Why have one color when you can have them all? Digitalis purpurea 'Dalmation Mix' is a vigorous foxglove series that ensures an eclectic bloom of sturdy upright flower spikes that emerge from May to mid-July in shades of pink, lavender, peach, cream, and white. Each individual flower features a heavily speckled throat, beneficial for attracting hordes of pollinators including bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Earlier flowering and more compact than traditional strains, the 'Dalmation Mix' Foxglove performs reliably and uniformly in perennial borders, woodland edges, and pollinator-focused gardens. Particularly effective for adding strong vertical rhythm and seasonal drama to layered planting schemes. Digitalis purpurea 'Dalmation Mix' is best grown in medium, well-drained soils in partial shade or moist, well-draining soils in full sun and may naturalize gently through reseeding. Deer and rabbit resistant.
